A Very Royal Claudia Bradby Giveaway In Support of EACH

We are delighted to share news of this week's Baby Cambridge Fundraiser activity - a very royal giveaway sponsored by the immensely talented Claudia Bradby in support of Kate's patronage East Anglia's Children's Hospices.

Last week marked an incredibly special occasion: the arrival of Prince George of Cambridge and another chapter in William and Kate's story. It was a global event with celebrations taking place all over the world and messages of congratulations coming in from such people as royal fans, celebrities and President Barack Obama.

Claudia shared her own message of support:

'A much anticipated moment in any life, I am thrilled for William and Kate on the birth of their baby son, the magic of which never fails to move me. I wish them all the very best of happiness and joy that becoming new parents will bring them.'

To celebrate and honour this historic moment, Claudia has designed two commemorative pieces of jewellery. One lucky winner will have the opportunity to win both!

Claudia Bradby

The first commemorative piece we look at is the elegant Acorn Necklace. The necklace features a lustrous white pearl acorn charm with an accent silver pearl, a perfect mother and child piece. Inspired by the Middleton family crest, which features three acorns to represent their three children Kate, Pippa and James (an idea reportedly suggested by Kate for the crest).

A closer look at the Middleton family crest.

I thought it an excellent idea to incorporate the crest into the design. The £55 piece is a 40cm sparkling sterling silver necklace with 4cm extension chain, fresh water pearls and sterling silver charms.

Claudia Bradby

The other commemorative pieces is the gorgeous Vintage Charm Bracelet. It gathers together royal icons Claudia has designed since she collaborated with Kate in 2007, and marks a new chapter in the Cambridges' lives whilst celebrating the birth of their first son.

Claudia Bradby

The £127.50 sterling silver link bracelet features the Diamond Jubilee, Pearl Acorn, Royal Crown and Silver Bean Charms. The total length of the bracelet is 19cm.

Claudia Bradby

Both pieces come presented with a commemorative card and gift box. Two beautiful items to add to your jewellery collection and a real treat for royal fans!

As we mentioned earlier in the post Claudia collaborated with Kate when she worked for Junior Jigsaw as an accessories buyer and the pair created some lovely pieces which are still available today including the Camellia NecklaceKate Quartz Necklace and the matching Kate Hoop Earrings.

Claudia Bradby

Since Claudia launched her designs in 1999 she has become renowned for her stunning pearl pieces and to this day still travels the world to source the finest pearls for her team in Hampshire. A look at three classic pearl bracelets: the BiographyPearl and Crown and Genevieve.

Claudia Bradby

A timeless pearl necklace is the ultimate accessory to add a dash of understated glamour to any look. Below we look at the Sophia, and why not try coloured pearls such as the Audrey and Bella?

Claudia Bradby

There is a wide range of pearl earrings; three of the most striking include the Audrey, the Baroque Earrings and the ever-popular Alexandra.

Claudia Bradby

Claudia also designs fabulous contemporary jewellery which can be worn day or night. Three of my favourites are the Vintage Locket (currently reduced from £120 to £60), the River Diamond Necklace (also reduced at the moment) and the matching £39 River Diamond Earrings.

Check out Claudia's charm collection here. A selection of Claudia's pieces are also available at John Lewis.

  53. I am pretty surprised that with the amount of fans, media hype and so on, it takes so long to collect only 5 000 pounds for Baby Cambridge Fundraiser... People are more interested in buying the things Kate wore (it's said the dresses sold out within minutes)but it takes over two months to collect the money. I was sure the target was achieved on the baby birthday. It would be nice that people who cash on royal couple pay some money for the fundraiser. Shame:(

    Hi Charlotte, hi everyone!

Last week I was away, on vacation, and got totally disconnected from the internet, so sadly I missed sharing all the excitement of the royal birth here on the blog! Fortunately, I managed to watch everything on tv :)
But now I'm back, and I noticed that there's a lot to read here, lots of information to catch up, so that's what I'll do!
Can't wait to hear some news about little prince George :)

    Have an excellent week!!

  82. The Acorn Necklace is my favorite piece. I find it to be a wonderful way to honor the royal birth because it directly ties in the Middleton family with the use of the acorn symbol. They will no doubt be a huge part of Prince George's life especially considering how family oriented Kate and the Middleton family are. They represent the somewhat "normal" part of his life and family and this was an excellent way to include and honor them as well.

Charlotte another great post. I love all the pieces. I would love to see someone to design a piece just for the birth of Prince George. Maybe something so simple as his name and birthdate. It could be used to raise funds for the charity. And be in a charm form. It would raise alot of money I think.

Also Charlotte I read today that William again is scheduled to play in a polo match this weekend. But it is really close to the Middletons so do you think if William play's we might see the Duchess in attendance without the aby of cousre? It would be great for her to get out with just William even if it is just for a few hours and it is not that far from her parents. We can only hope. I am really having Duchess withdrawals...lol

  176. I have a question for my fellow fans of TRH...a while back there was a big thing about curtsy to blood princesses- now that Prince George is here, does Catherine receive the same level of highness-ness as he has? Like when she is with William, she has his status- is it the same when she has her child since he is one behind his father in status. All very confusing for this simple American. Thank you for any information and by the way LOVE this site. Love it! no drama, no badmouthing- just wonderful information. Thank you-

SO excited about this giveaway!!! I love so many of Claudia's pieces, but my favorite is the vintage charm bracelet! So very pretty and a lovely way to celebrate the birth of Prince George! Also love the Alexandra earrings!

I have have "liked" the Claudia Bradby FB page, EACH FB page, and The Baby Cambridge Fundraiser FB page! It's very exciting that the BCF goal is close to being met! I was honored to give several weeks ago. It's such a wonderful cause!

  184. Actually I enjoyed watching her whole collection but I think I prefer the Charleston necklace above everything else because it's just beautiful. It is a very elegant piece but not too outstanding - it just goes with everything.

I will complete all entries and I will try to donate to Baby Cambridge Fundraiser (as a non-UK resident I have to figure out how to donate.)

It would be so awesome to win this giveaway because it's the only way I will be able to wear Cladia Bradby's wonderful jewellry. As a student I'm on a tight budget ;)
