Kate Wears Zara and Mulberry Shopping in Peter Jones

Good evening Duchess Kate readers,
Kate has no Olympic engagements scheduled for today, but Farrah Zerari kindly shared a photo she took of Kate shopping in Peter Jones in April via twitter.

Kate is regularly seen shopping in the department store which is located in Sloane Square at the top of King's Road. Below we see the store preparing for the Olympics.

A look at the inside.

The recent clearance sale included some beautiful pieces. The white dress on the mannequin is very Kate.

If one has worked up an appetite after some retail therapy the award winning second floor Brasserie has a selection of mouth watering treats.

Kate looked elegant in her Zara basic sweater. The Duchess was last spotted wearing it during her visit to the Widehorizons Adventure Centre in June.

Kate also wore her Mulberry Polly Push Lock herringbone wool skirt. The black pleated skirt is currently reduced from £495 to £288.

Kate completed the look with a scarf and black heels. She wore her hair scraped back into a bun.

William and Kate will be at Wimbledon tomorrow to watch the tennis. See you all then :)

  2. Yay! Thanks for sharing the old pic. She looks so "normal" here, I love it.

I truly like that skirt and I'm glad for the extra volume. She has made a good choice for her figure (Kate is an inverted triangle shape - narrow hips and wide back) so this really flatters her.

    1. It's not a mall- it is a shop. Wish I didn't have to work and could spend all my time shopping and turning up to the Olympics grinning inanely.

  6. Great to see a "normal" picture of Kate, haven't seen any new ones in a while. Not feeling the look - boring.

  9. I worry that the lovely duchess doesn't have any privacy and that people think its ok to publish photos of her on a private shopping trip. She has a very stressful life , with hair appointments and buying pretty dresses and we should respect that.

  13. What a shame that Kate Idleton only hits the papers for what she is wearing, her hairstyles or her earrings. This is a woman who had the chance to be a force for good , as Diana was. The world has moved on - women no longer should be living off their parents , waiting jobless for a Prince to pop that question. Kate has done very little charity work since her marriage and seems to be happy in the role od eye candy. There are many negative comments in the press about her seemingly work-shy attitude.
