Hey, I just saw some pictures showing the Duchess wearing a pair of red sneakers... I was wondering if they were already identified. Thank you!

  2. I think she looks really awkward in those skinny jeans and red sneakers. Someone needs to tell Kate that her pants don't always have to be so tight. If she worn some jogging pants and had her hair in a ponytail, it would have worked.

    1. Totally agree with you. Those jeans look more like ugly leggings and with such tight pants it is never flattering to wear a short top ( that doesn't cover the glutes). They are just as ugly as the blue Zara skinny jeans - when they received the Olympic torch... The more I look at this outfit I dislike it even more. It is awkward, bit ridiculous too

      Delete
    2. Leave her alone. Let her have her own style. The skinny jeans she wears are very in style and she looks great in them...they're very flattering because she's thin and can pull them off. Check out any fashion mag and you will see skinny jeans galore!

  3. So great to see her finally wearing casual shoes with these sporty outfits. The wedges just didn't seem right!

  4. I like the blue and blue combo on Kate, and the red shoes add to the overall look,,:))

    1. Me too! I think it's great she is dressing to just fit in with everyone else instead of wearing sillettos like others think she should. I say let her be comfortable and wear what she wants! She wants to be comfortable too! :) I like her in blue and red...she's adorable and can pull anything off.

  5. Is it my imagination or is the Duchess's hair looking a little tired? I'm not criticising, you understand, she's really putting in the appearances to support Team GB, but either the lustrous locks are a teensy bit less glowing than usual or maybe it looks as if she had her hair up earlier and it hasn't quite shaken out an earlier style.

She still looks gorgeous, after all, with that phenomenal smile, she couldn't look much otherwise!

    1. Yes, her hair is just messed up today. Oh well, we all have our bad hair days...

    2. I'm not a fan of her highlights, her hair is getting blonder and blonder. It makes it look a little fried.

Oh, I swear I never realized the fact that Catherine's hair is highlighted... is it actually true?

    4. Just because she's royalty now doesn't make her Hair immune to the elements! She doesn't have to look like she has just come out of the salon every second of her life...shes a person just like you and me and I'm glad shes not so vain that she has to pull out a mirror and look in it every second to make sure everything is perfect. She doesn't have Highlights in her hair! It has zero traces of blond in it...how do people come up with these things? And let her wear whatever the heck color she wants...who cares! Poor girl...everyone critiquing every little thing she wears and every move she makes.

  6. I'm glad she wore a different color polo. I hope we get to see her in the purple as well - the cutest in my opinion. I'm sorry but I don't like those super tight ( almost painted jeans, which look a lot like the blue Zara worn the day the torch made it to Buckinhan Palace). They just don't seem to go with the short polo. I'm not liking the tennis shoes either (they remind me of Bozo), so I say thumbs down to this outfit today.
I am, however, very impressed with that

I think the Duchess looked real sporty today. Love the red tennis shoes. But she look's good in anyting she puts on. As far as her hair, she has been so business this past week that she has not had time to get her hair done. It still look's good.

Can't wait to see pictures of the Duchess & her Prince tonight at track & field. I am going to miss seeing them together next week when William goes back to work. I bet she will miss him too.

Thanks again Ms. Charlotte for keeeping us up on everything the Duchess has been doing.

  9. Skinny jeans are very popular right now (Ralph Lauren has them available in several colors) and I don't see anything wrong with Kate wearing them for these casual occasions. She has the figure for it, she's a young woman, and with a sharp blazer and smart/casual shoes they look terrific on her, IMO.

    1. Personally, I completely agree with is. I think skinny jeans look very stylish with the right footwear and a blazer. The Olympics are all about supporting Team GB for the royals and with the Adidas shirts the jeans work very well.

    2. Ana B. from Brazil6 August 2012 at 02:16

Simply couldn't agree more! Loved her outfit today and love her jeans! Actually, I think the Duchess have always worn the same type of jeans since the engagement... When it became very popular... So I don't understand why people are "hating" it now, because I have never hears anyone complain about it before!

      Delete
    3. I agree that the skinny jeans look great on Kate and I do like the more casual footwear with them. I think her hair looks as great as ever. I must be missing some pictures or something. According to the present schedule, she'll be taking about a month off before Malaysia. I,m sure she'll be quite busy getting ready for the trip and there will probably be some added engagements.

      Delete
    4. There is nothing wrong with skinny jeans. They're sexy, comfortable, and simple. Kate's are so tight they look like jeggings. If she insists on wearing them so tight that they look as if they've been painted on, then she will be criticized. Miranda Kerr wears them well and Kate needs to take note.

      Delete
    5. I agree too! She looks perfect in skinny pants and they can look more dressy than regular jeans also. People judge every thing she wears even though she always looks polished, and they're probably sitting at home on the computer in their sweats without their teeth brushed. Shes cute and modest and looks great!

  10. At last! Footwear that looks great with those jeggings!! Love the red Adidas and the blue shirt! And huge applause to Prince Harry for cheering on his favorite, Usain Bolt!!

    ReplyDelete
  11. And I agree with an earlier commenter, I love her hair down but it might be nice with these casual outfits, to see it up in a pony or even half-up style, just for a change and something more casual.

  12. Hi, everyone! Well, I know that the discussion here is about the outfit worn by the Duchess of Cambridge. But I do not have much to add to you about it, because overall, I liked all the choices of clothes she make in the events related to the Olympics. I would like to congratulate the participation of the trio (William, Kate and Harry) during the Olympics because they are always there, rooting for their teams, representing their country very well and always show respect with the representatives of the other countries. But, unpleasantly, I feel that some social networking and sites are selecting on purpose, pictures where Kate appears chatting happily with Harry, and William, in turn, seems serious and bored, but surely, is the image that comes out moment that the picture is taken, does not mean that this means the moment as a whole, as during the Olympic events, we had the opportunity to see many tender moments of affection between the Duchess and Prince William. But I must confess that the media has bothered me a lot with these ridiculous speculations about Kate and Harry, because I feel fear to the marriage of William and Kate, especially if we consider how the media tends to be "treacherous" in most times. The closing of the Olympics coming up, and Kate and Harry will be there, I hope that the media is not as intrusive to the point of insinuating things so cruel. I swear, folks, I try to avoid speculation here, but like many here, I cheer for the happiness of the couple William and Kate, and these speculations bore me too much. Kisses!

Ana Laura- Don't get so upset on what the rag papers have to say about the Duchess & Harry. We all know that they have a great friendship. Remember they have known each other for a long time and now the are related by marriage. I am sure if William was worried about his beautiful Duchess & his brother they would not be spending so much time together. I have more respect for Harry then the media does. I have only seen a handful of pictures where the Duchess is even talking to Harry. Most of the pictures are with her Princes and they are giving us fans some great PDA shots.
Also remember what William said during their engagement interview, his marriage is for life. He has learn from the mistakes made in his parents marriage and his was not going to end up like theirs. William loves his Duchess and if he thought something was going on with his brother, he would have put a stop to it. And let's give the Duchess some credit too. She waited 10 yrs for her Prince and she is not going to do anything to hurt William. He is the light of her life and she loves him too.

So just sit back and watch this marriage take off. We fans will be part of this great love story. And the media can write whatever they and we don't have to believe it.

And as far as the Duchess & Harry being together for the closng of the Olympics, don't worry their is supposed to be more of the royal family in attendance. I am sure it makes William be better knowing that the family will be their to support his Duchess while he had to go back to work. And all these speculations not bore me they piss me off.

And just think in little over a month we get to see them together during their trip. All the great pictures we will get.

    2. So if they bore you, why you spread them again and again here ..this is not the first time you put here your serious concerns about happines of this couple based on tabloid rubbish, Ana Laura. I think that normal person don´t pay any attention to those sensationalist articles, let alone to repeat them in fan´s forums. If you really didn´t believe anything of it, it wouldn´t concern you so much. I feel a bit of hypocrisy in your comments, sorry. And yes, it is kind od off topic.

    3. I agree with Mia. Ana Laura is always bringing these gossip topics to this blog and I just can't figure why is that.I think a person who trully liked the Duchess and didin't like these kind of gossips wouldn't keep talking about them in this blog.

    4. Oh my word. Why do people make a big deal out of every move she makes!! Harry is her brother in law!!! They're not flirting acting inappropriate! They're probably great friends and he makes her laugh! Its stupid how people make things up about these poor kids. I hope they don't read any of this gossip...they would be paranoid every second of their lives wondering who was thinking what about them! They're having fun! Let them giggle and laugh and jump up and down! Let them nudge one another and joke and be excited in the bleachers! They're doing nothing wrong...they're all best friends so let them have fun! ;)

    5. Pauline, thanks, you're always very dear to me. Your comments are really very relevant to me. You know I like you very much.

Now, Mia, although you have the right to have your opinion about anyone in this blog, I am entitled to answer you. Unfortunately, you're totally wrong about my person. I only comment on things with which I am genuinely concerned because, in my humble opinion, I think YES, the "normal" people care about each other and therefore with what they are told about them. I'm sorry if you think my comments are hypocrites, that never was and never will be my intention, because if there's one thing I'm not definitely not is a hipocrite person. The name I stand here and my face in the photo are real, I do not owe anything to anybody and I do it because I want to give the freedom of people know me, and if like me, can make my friends. I have page on multiple social networks and everyone who wants to can visit and see that I always post good things about William and Kate. But in one thing you're right, I have been repeating about my concern with the marriage of William and Kate. I promise I'll try to be different. And just to conclude, I am not spreading these stories in forums that discuss about the royal family, because the only place where I commentis here, on the blog of Charlotte. And yes, my comment was really off topic. And, yes, sorry, but your comment about me was very rude.

  13. tte, sorry, I posted the link to the story of the Daily Mail, the post wrong. It was to be in this post now http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-2183401/William-Kate--Harry-Its-3-people-marriage.html. Does the media only intention is to end the marriage of William and Kate? It makes me very sad. And have comments on this story (comments from readers) saying that it is Kate who is flirting with Harry, and not vice versa. The blame always falls on Kate. Actually, I'm sure they know about these reports and the false accusations and these would be important for them to find strategies to possess in public so that people stop with these insane claims. However, it has many pictures that Kate is close to Harry (as a ratio sister-brother) and William, however, seems lost in his own thoughts. Then it is easy to capture photos of sensationalist tabloids and formulate reports suggesting that nonsense. And as I said, the media tends to be nasty when he wants, and many people who read these tabloids are easily influenced, and many relationships are ultimately guilty of untruths and rumors perpetuated. I worry about that. Kisses!

Ana Laura- I read the article in the Daily Mail and it is just a bunch of crap. Please don't beleive everything you read. They are just saying this crap becasue yes the three of them have been together alot this past week. But once the Olympics are over the Duchess will go to being a house wife to William and Harry goes back to work too. The media will not end the marriage of William & his Duchess. The media will never end the claims because that is what they do, write crap about this beauiful couple.

I have been looking at alot of th e photos taken of the three of them the past week and there is only a hand full where the Duchess is talking to Harry. And there is no flirting between the two of them. We also have to remember that William is ther serious one of the three so that does not mean he is unhappy with his Duchess talking to his brother. As I said in my first post if Willima thought that his Duchess was out of line I am sure he would have said something to her and his brother. And again they have known eachother for almost/more then 10 yrs.

So as I said before, just sit back and watch is couple grow in their marriage. Kisses to you.

  16. The Duchess's hair seems at times lighter or darker---even during the same visit, so I suspect it's a lighting thing.
The red trainers have been worn by most of the British team.
I cannot understand the criticism of her jeans-- a style worn by most of the young women I see around and when as slim as she is look perfectly OK.

  17. It has been fascinating to watch the pictures of the Royal Trio, and it is easy to see the difference in the personalities of the two brothers. William is a typical older child, more serious and responsible, with the added pressure of having been raised to be King. Harry is more naturally spontaneous and free spirited. I believe we have seen these tendencies over the years as the boys grew up, and it continues today. To me it seems ridiculous to read anything more into their photographs than a picture of three young people in a family who actually get along. As families go, I'd say they are doing quite well.
